Description

Sublimation protective paper is an essential component in the dye sublimation printing process, serving to safeguard the substrate from any potential ink or dye bleed during printing. Placed atop the substrate, this paper acts as a barrier, preventing excess ink from penetrating the material.

Our sublimation protective paper is designed to be lightweight and thin. The application involves attaching the paper to the back of the printing fabric, which is then heat-pressed together with the sublimation paper. The primary purpose of this product is twofold: it blocks excess dye gas from contaminating the rotary calendar press’s recalculating belt and prevents stains on the fabric’s back from affecting the recalculating belt, thus extending its lifespan.

In addition to its protective function, this backing paper is also suitable for roll textiles, effectively isolating fabrics to prevent color change.

The sublimation protective paper offers several advantages. It features a lower unit square weight, reducing transportation, storage, and processing costs. Furthermore, it exhibits excellent dye gas isolation, effectively extending the service life of the calendar belt without interfering with the sublimation paper and printing fabrics’ transfer process. During the hot pressing process, the product releases no formaldehyde, ensuring the fabric remains free from yellowing.

Our sublimation protective paper boasts excellent flatness, with minimal warping along the edges, uniform color, and minimal impurities. It also possesses high tensile strength, maintaining its durability even after undergoing high-temperature hot pressing. This strength prevents material fractures during the production process, eliminating potential production issues.

We offer the option of customizing the length of rolls according to your requirements, ensuring utmost flexibility. The available range for roll lengths is as follows:

1. For weights exceeding 65 GSM, the roll length can be customized anywhere between 100 meters and 10,000 meters.
2. For weights below 65 GSM, the roll length can be customized within the range of 100 meters to 15,000 meters.
